Fugitive Police Inspector Arrested in Eldoret

A police inspector wanted in connection with the murders of a Nairobi lawyer and a doctor has been arrested in Eldoret.

Inspector Kenneth Kipkemboi Sang was intercepted by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in the town's Central Business District.

Investigation Ongoing

The arrest is a major breakthrough in the investigation into the killings of Mathew Kyalo Mbobu and Dr. Victoria Nthunya Mutiso, which occurred in different parts of Nairobi.

• The DCI has linked the murders to a common motive involving property disputes and a bitter divorce process.
• The inspector's arrest does not establish guilt, and all allegations will be tested in court.
